Currently, The Rock is doing the rounds as he promotes his new live action film for Disney, Moana.
Moana has been a huge success for Rocky and Disney and it’s little wonder they’re putting so much effort into promoting their latest blockbuster.
Nevertheless, while meeting fans out and about in London, it came back to wrestling for Rocky as one fan presented him with a unique gift.

Every so often with the wrestling world and the fans involved, we see moments that are just beyond cool.
This time, it was down to long-term WWE fan ‘Steven’ to wow ‘The People’s Champion’ by presenting him with some memorabilia which featured Rocky’s real life grandfather.
The fan presented Rocky with both a programme from a WWE show and a vintage magazine after apparently meeting Rocky’s mother at a past show. After promising to get these items to the family, Steven followed through and the Rock took notice.
“INCREDIBLY COOL gift from an awesome fan – a vintage wrestling magazine with my grandfather on the cover. As you see by his pictures, my grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia was the inspiration behind my character MAUI from MOANA. Thank you Steven I got the best fans in the world!!,” he wrote on X.
Once again, The Rock has provided a fan with a once in a lifetime moment and as has become his style, he is more than humble with it.
He might be a movie star in 2026. But when it comes to it, his heart and his fans’ hearts will always lie with wrestling.
