Newcastle United are planning to make a big bid for Dusan Vlahovic, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, according to Tancredi Palmeri.
The well-know and well-respected CNN journalist has reported on Twitter that Newcastle are in contact with Fiorentina over the signing of Vlahovic in the January transfer window.
Newcastle are reportedly planning to make a bid of €70 million (£58.45 million) bid for the Serbia international striker.
Palmeri has added that although Fiorentina are keen on selling Vlahovic, the Serbia international striker himself is not too keen on a transfer to Newcastle.
Tottenham and Arsenal more attractive to Dusan Vlahovic
In our view, Tottenham and Arsenal are more attractive to Vlahovic than Newcastle are.
So, we can understand why the Serbia international is reportedly not keen on a move to Newcastle in the January transfer window.
Now, of course, Fiorentina would sell the striker to whichever club pays them the most.

However, we have to say that Vlahovic’s wishes will be key.
The Athletic have reported that Arsenal are the best-placed side to sign the striker in January.
Corriere dello Sport (print edition, page 18, November 14, 2021) reported that Tottenham are leading the race for Vlahovic.
Vlahovic has scored 16 goals and provided two assists in 19 Serie A matches for Fiorentina so far this season.
