A big day could be ahead at Leeds United.

Earlier this month while Andrea Radrizzani flew to Russia to watch England in the World Cup semi-finals, fans inundated his social media feeds demanding he get back to sign some players.

Negotiating certainly has not been easy for the Whites, but Radrizzani might just have known what he was doing all along.

One of the strange things about Leeds’ silence over the past fortnight was the absence of mention anywhere regarding a new kit, prompting supporters to question what exactly was going on.

Leeds addressed that on Tuesday, releasing images of the impressive new Kappa kit, which will finally be unveiled tomorrow (Friday).

Last summer Radrizzani timed the announcement for the start of July, to coincide with the acquisition of free agent Vurnon Anita.

This time Leeds have their sights set higher.

Wolves left-back Barry Douglas is poised to sign, with SkySports reporting a fee has been agreed and personal terms also tied up.

He is a near certainty to be announced or unveiled in some form at the kit launch.

He may not be the only one, with Matej Vydra’s transfer from Derby also edging closer.

The Sun report Leeds are closing in on Vydra, with the forward willing to compromise on his wages.

Bringing that saga to a conclusion at the kit unveiling would be the icing on the cake, and show Radrizzani is not just talk, but action too, and can deliver the big names to back the world renowned manager Marcelo Bielsa, who he appointed amid much fanfare last month.
