Sergio Aguero is leaving Manchester City this summer, and there is no surprise that Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs reportedly interested in him.

The Daily Star reported earlier this month that Tottenham and Leeds want to sign Aguero on a free transfer this summer.

Everton, Chelsea and Barcelona are also claimed to hold interest in the Argentina international striker.

Aguero is a goal machine and one of the best strikers the Premier League has ever seen.

True, the Argentine is 32 now, but he would still be a superb signing for Leeds or Spurs, especially as a free agent.

Patrick Bamford is the main number 9 at Leeds and does not really have competition, and while Harry Kane is banging in the goals for fun, the Spurs striker has been linked with moves away.

Aguero was in action for City against Chelsea on Saturday, and the striker had the chance to add to his goals-tally this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side earned a penalty, and Aguero stepped up to take it.

It was supposed to be easy for the former Atletico Madrid star, but he tried a ‘Panenka penalty’.

Given that it was Aguero, you would have thought that he would score, but he could not get it right, as Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy caught the ball with ease.

It was embarrassing, and Aguero has apologised for his effort. Former Spurs striker Lineker has responded to his post on Twitter, the Englishman himself having attempted and missed a Panenka penalty for England against Brazil.
