Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has suggested to Sky Sports that Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will compete with Jurgen Klopp’s side and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
Salah has said that Chelsea and Manchester City are two teams who do not drop points easily.
The Egypt international forward made the comments about his former club while looking ahead to the Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
Liverpool have made a disappointing start to the Premier League season.
The Reds played out a 2-2 draw with Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London in their opening game of the campaign before drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace at Anfield.

Salah told Sky Sports, as transcribed by This is Anfield: “It does for everybody, not just myself, but I think for everybody we can feel that we can’t really lose a point that early.
“You fight with City, you fight with Chelsea, two teams that don’t drop points easily. We just need to focus again and try to win games.”

Manchester City are on fire at the moment, while Chelsea have started the season strongly.
Liverpool remain a force to be reckoned with, and they will eventually come good.
