Galatasaray ‘do not intend to sell’ £13 million-rated right-back Sacha Boey in the January transfer window following links with Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Liverpool, president Dursun Ozbek tells Sabah.
Not only that, the Turkish giants are making steps to ensure that speculation over the Frenchman’s future ends sooner rather than later. Per TRT Spor, Boey is set to be offered a new deal at Galatasaray. One that could double his wages from £15 to £30-a-week.

A bargain £2.2 million signing from Ligue 1 outfit Rennes in the summer of 2021, 22-year-old Boey has come on leaps and bounds in Istanbul. His eye-catching performances this season have reportedly caught the eye of Liverpool, the men from Merseyside potentially seeing the one-time Celtic target as an understudy to Trent Alexander-Arnold at Anfield (Takvim). A right-sided Kostas Tsimikas, perhaps.
Crystal Palace are also ‘very’ keen, according to FootMercato.

But, according to Ozbek, Galatasaray have no plans to cash in on Boey. Nor any of their other stars, for that matter.
“We do not intend to sell any players,” the president insists. “We have a very good squad, and we are fighting for the title.
“Besides Sacha Boey and (Danish centre-half) Victor Nelsson, there are offers for three or four more players. Because the squad is a very good squad.”
With eight wins from 13 games, Galatasaray are currently two points adrift of Istanbul neighbours Fenerbahce at the top of the table. Nelsson is a target for Spanish giants Sevilla. Lucas Torreira’s future is also in doubt, just a few months after arriving from Arsenal.
“I’ve already spoken to a couple of teams,” Torreira’s agent admitted earlier in December. “He wants to return to Italy in any way possible after a year at Galatasaray. One team is very interested. I don’t expect that a return for him will be very difficult.
“(Torreira) has a unique love for Italy and for Italian football. He has experience, and he’s a hard-to-find player in modern football.”
