The former Liverpool midfielder, who now works as a pundit for Premier League Productions, believes that Salah has been a passenger in the team for months.

Ashley Barnes’s goal from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
It was Liverpool’s first defeat in the league at Anfield in 69 matches, and Hutchison was critical of one particular player – Salah.

While Roberto Firmino has been often criticised by pundits for his seemingly underwhelming performances for Liverpool this season, it is not often that Salah has come in the firing line.
The Egypt international forward is not exactly in the best of form, but the former Chelsea player is scoring goals.
According to WhoScored, Salah has scored 13 goals and provided three assists in 18 Premier League games for Liverpool so far this season and is the top scorer in the league at the moment.
