Curtis Woodhouse has suggested on Twitter that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is like Patrick Bamford of Leeds United, but without the goals.
The former Sheffield United midfielder made the comments on the social networking site which watching Firmino in action for Liverpool in their Premier League game against Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in London on Sunday evening.
Woodhouse does not think that the 29-year-old Brazil international forward will be at Liverpool next season, and believes that he should score more goals and provide more assists.
Roberto Firmino and Patrick Bamford Stats
According to WhoScored, Bamford has scored eight goals and provided one assist in 12 Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
Firmino has scored two goals and provided two assists in 12 Premier League games for Liverpool so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
While Bamford’s stats are much better, it must be noted that the former Chelsea and Nottingham Forest player leads the line for Leeds, while Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane score a bulk of the goals for Liverpool, so Firmino does not need to find the back of the net too often.
