Don Hutchison has criticised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on Twitter for his performance in the second half against Chelsea.
The former Liverpool midfielder, who now works as a pundit for ESPN and Premier League Productions, noted that the midfielder was dropping very deep and trying to start Tottenham’s attacks in the London derby.
Hutchison said that the Denmark international midfielder should have been further up the pitch and “getting in people’s faces”.
Tottenham suffered a 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Thursday evening.
According to WhoScored, the 25-year-old former Southampton star had a pass accuracy of 92.5%, won one header, took 76 touches, attempted one dribble, and made one interception and two clearances.
Meanwhile, former Tottenham star Graham Roberts has urged head coach Jose Mourinho to start playing Dele Alli.
Alli did not feature in the London derby against Chelsea, and Roberts believes that the England international midfielder will add creativity to the team.
Roberts has also criticised Tottenham defender Eric Dier for giving away the penalty against Chelsea, which the Blues converted to win the game.
