Spurs secured their status at the top of the Premier League table after a 1-0 win against Watford.
Tottenham remain the only side in the English top-flight with a 100% win record as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secured a comfortable victory over their London rivals.
Heung-min Son’s sole goal in the first half was all that was needed to clinch the three points against Watford for Spurs. The result means that Tottenham are top of the Premier League heading into the international break.
It was a routine win for the north London side. The result was even better for Spurs fans when you consider that Arsenal are currently rock bottom of the Premier League table.
Indeed, Nuno’s tenure has got off to the perfect start for Spurs, and Japhet Tanganga was once again impressive against Watford.
The defender, who was played as a right-back for the third game-in-a-row for Tottenham, kept another clean sheet and marshalled the flank well for Nuno’s side.
The defender has been one of the biggest winners in the Spurs squad since the arrival of the Portuguese manager. And his performance against Watford well praised by fans on social media.
