Could Spurs really lure Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi and Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Christian Pulisic to the Premier League this summer?

Mauricio Pochettino has made it pretty clear that he wants to see some more ambition at Tottenham Hotspur after years of punching above their weight at the top end of the Premier League.
Spurs have continued to thrive, standing shoulder to shoulder with the big boys despite the huge fees being spent in the transfer market by Liverpool and the two Manchester giants. But if latest reports are anything to go by, there could be a big change in North London this summer with Spurs now seemingly set to splash the cash to ensure they don’t get left behind.

The Inter captain, however, has himself admitted that he could be sold this summer due to Financial Fair Play restrictions with Inter set to miss out on the Champions League yet again. Icardi is one of the world’s best strikers, netting 28 goals in 2017/18.
If he does arrive, you could even argue that Harry Kane’s status as Tottenham’s star striker could come under real threat.
This report comes just two days after Calcio Insider claimed that Spurs were willing to meet Dortmund’s asking price for the USA sensational Christian Pulisic, who is believed to be valued at around £40 million.

Despite being just 19 years of age, Pulisic is one of Dortmund’s star men and scored or assisted nine Bundesliga goals last season.
Imagine for a second that Tottenham could bring both Icardi and Pulisic to North London. Not only would Spurs be making one hell of a statement, they would also be revolutionising their attack with two genuinely top class players.
