League One Sunderland are reportedly hoping to lure Charlie Wyke from Bradford City but Championship Bolton Wanderers are keen too.

The race to sign Bradford City striker Charlie Wyke is really hotting up.
Sunderland have made signing a new striker their top priority this summer and Wyke ticks plenty of boxes. The 25-year-old is a proven goal-scorer at League One level and notched 15 goals in the third tier last season for the Bantams.
Sky Sports claimed on Monday that Sunderland have made a second bid for the striker, tabling £600,000 for his services.
But they are facing plenty of competition. According to Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers have made Wyke their top target this summer. Strong in the air and an excellent targetman, Wyke could be the replacement they need for Gary Madine, who left for Cardiff City in January.

Sunderland, however, could have a real advantage, despite the fact that they are a division below Phil Parkinson’s men.
According to the Sunderland Echo, Wyke is keen to return to the North East this summer and this obviously makes Sunderland favourites to land him.
The striker was born just down the road from Wearside in Middlesbrough, starting his career at the Riverside and enjoying loan spells at Hartlepool United before moving permanently to Carlisle in the summer of 2014.
Bolton News reports that Wyke could cost up to £1 million, meaning Sunderland will have to raise their bid considerably to land him.
