Championship trio Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and West Brom reportedly want Bournemouth’s Premier League benchwarmer Tyrone Mings.

Eddie Howe has broken his silence on Bournemouth’s £8 million benchwarmer Tyrone Mings.
The former Ipswich Town defender has struggled for game time this season, starting just two Premier League games, and he is expected to fall further down the pecking order after the £12 million signing of Brentford centre-back Chris Mepham.
And, speaking to the Bournemouth Echo, Howe has now admitted that Mings could leave on loan this week.
“We will wait and see but that’s a possibility,” the affable manager said when asked if the 25-year-old was on his way out of the Vitality Stadium.
“He’s a talented player and is desperate to play.”

This will be music to the ears for a number of Championship clubs.
The Mail reported on Monday that Aston Villa had entered talks with Mings as Dean Smith looks to add depth to his squad at left-back and centre-half, two positions the versatile defender impressed in during his time at Ipswich.
The Express and Star meanwhile claimed that West Brom and Nottingham Forest were also interested.
And, reacting on Twitter, Forest fans were thrilled about the prospect of Mings’ arrival, given that they have lacked a natural, athletic left-back over the last few seasons.
