Martin Odegaard has been linked with a loan switch from Real Madrid to Middlesbrough.

Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard has been linked with a switch to Teeside to join Middlesbrough before the loan window shuts at the end of this month.
Tony Pulis has made some impressive signings this summer, but the Teesiders are yet to fill the void left by Adama Traore, who left the club for Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month.
But the signing of the 19-year-old would be a massive coup for Middlesbrough and could solve the creativity problem in Pulis’ side.
Odegaard signed for Madrid back in 2015, but was sent out on loan to Eredivisie side Heerenveen, where he made 38 appearances and scored just three goals.
However, the Norwegian attacking midfielder certainly showed glimpses of his flare in his time in the Dutch league, but a move to the Boro could be the turning point in his development.
Odegaard is a real threat with the ball at his feet and whilst running at defenders , something that Middlesbrough lack now Traore has departed.

The 21-year-old Spaniard made ten assists across the season for the Boro last term, whilst also scoring five goals from his wide position.
And Odegaard could be the perfect fit to fill that void on a season-long loan, especially with his potential arrival involving very little risk.
