Sky Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio claims Chelsea want a fee of just £17.5million for Hakim Ziyech before Tuesday’s deadline – with Everton, Aston Villa and Newcastle all showing interest in the Morocco World Cup star.

Ziyech, 29, is likely to leave Chelsea before the deadline. Largely because, Chelsea have signed Mykhaylo Mudryk and Noni Madueke during the January window. Ziyech starred for Morocco at the World Cup, his stock is high.

This season, he has started just six of 15 appearances for Chelsea this season. He has failed to score, and laid on just one assist for Graham Potter’s side. He is slipping further and further down the pecking order at Chelsea.

Sky Sports say Everton are keen, even without a manager. The Athletic say Unai Emery is an admirer of the ex-Ajax star – while The Telegraph say Newcastle are open to a loan with an option to buy. Now, Di Marzio offers an update.

The widely-respected Italian reporter says Roma are interested as they look to bring in a replacement for Nicolo Zaniolo. He also states that Chelsea are willing to offload Ziyech for a fee of just £17.5million before the deadline.

Chelsea want £17.5million for Ziyech with Everton and Villa interested

Which move would be best – Roma, Everton, Newcastle or Villa? The Toon could do with an option out wide, with Joelinton are better in the middle of the park. Allan Saint-Maximin is linked with a move to AC Milan this month.

Everton need quality all over the park, but the chances of Ziyech being tempted by a move to a club in a relegation scrap is unlikely. Villa also need wingers and Emery will be tempting. But surely, Roma would be his preferred move.

Still in the Europa League, Jose Mourinho’s side are pushing for Champions League qualification. It would see Ziyech reunite with Tammy Abraham, and play alongside the likes of Paulo Dybala. The most tempting of the four.
