Perhaps Silly Season is getting off to an early start, but Arsenal are now being linked with a Chelsea player.
According to The Daily Mail, Mikel Arteta and Edu may be interested in luring Christian Pulisic from West to North London during the January transfer window.
Pulisic impressed for the USA against England in the World Cup earlier this week, powering one effort against the crossbar in a 0-0 draw in Qatar.
Still only 24, that moment was a reminder of how dangerous the former Borussia Dortmund attacker can be.
And Gary Neville is certainly an admirer of the Arsenal-linked forward, admitting he can be ‘devastating’.

Speaking via Football London in July of 2020 following a Chelsea win away to Crystal Palace, Neville said: “Really good. He’s impressed me enormously. It’s so fast. Devastating from Pulisic. He was wonderful at West Ham in that defeat last week. He’s just set this game alight.”
Question is, can Arsenal sign him?
Well during Roman Abramovich’s era, Chelsea wouldn’t generally strengthen a Premier League rival if they thought it would actually strengthen them.
And Pulisic, as mentioned, is only 24 and capable of getting a hell of a lot better, so Todd Boehly could – and should – be reluctant.
It could be an early example of how the rumour mill can throw out silly stories around this time of the year, a month away from the opening of another transfer window.
But even if Arsenal are genuinely interested, luring him from Stamford Bridge could be pretty difficult.
