Omari Hutchinson & Charlie Patino have reacted on Instagram to Charles Sagoe Jr. making his Arsenal debut in the EFL Cup.
Mikel Arteta’s side locked horns with fellow Premier League side Brentford, with Aaron Ramsdale stealing the headlines because he returned to the XI.
But whilst there has been a lot of talk around Arsenal goalkeepers recently, the likes of Charles Sagoe Jr. also deserve their spotlight – Sky Sports pundit Glenn Murray delivered his verdict on his debut after the win over Brentford.
The 19-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday morning to express his delight at donning the colours of Arsenal for the first time.
The all-action forward was handed 68 minutes by Mikel Arteta, before being subbed for Gabriel Jesus.
Either way, when Charles Sagoe Jr. took to his socials, his fellow Hale-End stars Omari Hutchinson & Charlie Patino sent him messages.

Charles Sagoe Jr. debut
Now-Chelsea star Hutchinson, who is on-loan at Ipswich, simply wrote ‘Ck jr’ added with a heart eyes emoji, whilst Patino told him it was ‘well deserved’ and Reuell Walters added ‘Only the start’.
Bukayo Saka the perfect example
For all those players inside Arsenal’s academy, from the goalkeeper to the right winger, they should all be looking at Bukayo Saka for guidance.
The 22-year-old is a prime example of how it should be done, even during the most pressured of situations.
It hasn’t been an easy road for the England International, but he can rightfully call himself one of the best forwards in Europe today.
