The transfer season must be hard for a footballer.
Rumours are always stressful, but even when it’s not a transfer involving yourself, your life can be changed for the worse.
Indeed, throughout a window, you could see some of your nearest and dearest friends dragged away moving to different countries miles away from you.
One club where that seems to be an issue is at Tottenham.
Indeed, last year, Heung-Min Son admitted just how much everyone at the club misses Kevin Wimmer after his departure, while the South Korean has also opened up on how much he misses Jan Vertonghen.
Son may be missing the two former centre-backs, but it seems as though Dele Alli is missing another ex-Spurs player.
Alli posted a rather innocuous image on Instagram which prompted Serge Aurier to show him a bit of support.
The midfielder, in turn, responded to Aurier letting him know how much he misses him, and it’s somewhat sad to see these two interacting in this way.
Imagine if one of your best friends from work was let go and moved to Spain, it would be rather tough to deal with.
However, a hard social life seems to come with the territory of being a footballer, and as much as Alli misses Aurier, it seems as though that’s what comes with a career in professional sports.
