Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting to reports linking them with a move for Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard.
The England international was linked to Spurs this summer, and with Dele Alli seemingly on his way out of north London this month, it’s being reported that Tottenham are once again interested in Lingard.
This is a link that has gotten Tottenham fans talking, and many are quite excited about the prospect of Lingard coming to Spurs.
We can understand why as well, Lingard was excellent when he worked under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, becoming one of the first-names on the teamsheet at international level during that time.
Unfortunately, Lingard hasn’t quite hit those heights during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tenure at Old Trafford, but there is still player in there, and there is a feeling that Mourinho may be the man to once again unlock his talents.
