According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur misfit Dele Alli is now confident he will secure a move to Paris Saint-Germain this month.
It’s claimed that Alli thinks a loan move to the French capital will now materialise this month, believing that Spurs will accept his desire to go.
The 24-year-old wasn’t even in the Spurs squad to face Sheffield United on Sunday, and Alli is now hopeful that he will be given permission to join PSG.
They made a couple of attempts to land Alli the summer window, but the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino now means a reunion makes real sense.
Alli has started just one Premier League game this season, and with his hopes of playing at the European Championships seemingly over, it’s clear that he needs to move.
Playing under Pochettino will be appealing, but what if he isn’t even the only Tottenham player Pochettino wants to reunite with in France?
The report states that Pochettino also wants to sign Hugo Lloris, but will wait until the end of the season to make his move for the Frenchman.
A January deal for Lloris would be pretty much impossible, but Lloris may soon be the latest Spurs-based target for Pochettino – and Jose Mourinho would surely put up more of a fight over him than Alli.
