One defender has admitted he has some exciting proposals amid reported interest from Leeds United and the Bundesliga.
Leeds United were 90 minutes away from an immediate return to the Premier League under German Daniel Farke but were beaten by Russell Martin’s Southampton.
The Yorkshire club had a promising season in the EFL Championship and The Whites will have another season in the second tier of English football.
Transfers will be key for Leeds this summer and with teenage midfielder Archie Gray closing in on a move to Tottenham Hotspur, the summer window will now be even more important for Farke as they need to replace the Englishman.

Defender admits ‘exciting’ proposals are on the table
One player who has been linked with a move to Leeds is KAA Gent defender Jordan Torunarigha, and the 26-year-old has opened up on his future in Belgium.
Back in May, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg had linked Leeds with a move for the Nigerian defender, who has just a year left on his contract at the Belgium giants.
Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim are also interested in the defender, who can reportedly leave Gent for a fee between £1.5 million and £2 million.
Speaking to Transfermarkt, the Nigerian defender admitted that inquires have been on the table for his services this summer.
“There are very exciting and concrete inquiries that I deal with,” the 26-year-old defender told Transfermarkt. “I feel good, I’m in top shape and ready for the next step.
“I still have a year left on my contract and I’m in no hurry. We’ll see what happens. I strive for the highest possible goals in terms of sport. That definitely plays a role in my decision.”
Torunarigha could be a smart addition for Leeds
After losing Robin Koch to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, the Yorkshire club are set to receive Tottenham’s Joe Rodon in exchange for Gray.
The signing of another defender for the club could be a smart one and Torunarigha would be available for a decent price.
The Chemnitz-born player played 104 games for the club, in which he scored four goals and provided five assists. He also won the Belgian Cup in 2022.
International teammate Gift Orban once said of Torunarigha, to Complete Sports: “Jordan is a good defender, one of the best in the game at the moment.
“He is a good tackler and very good on the ball too. I’m happy to be here in the national team with him. You can be sure he will make a big impact in the Super Eagles.”
