Paddy Pimblett has broken his silence following his brutal loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324, posting a message that quickly went viral for its honesty, composure, and sportsmanship.

The Liverpool lightweight chose reflection over frustration after one of the most punishing fights of his career. The bout delivered exactly what fans expected: relentless pressure, heavy exchanges, and no shortage of drama.

In the hours that followed, attention quickly shifted from the result itself to Pimblett’s condition and how he would respond publicly after such a high-profile defeat. That response arrived swiftly, and it set the tone for how Pimblett intends to move forward.

“Hope everyone enjoyed my fight just as much as I did, want to thank everyone who came to support and everyone watching at home. I’m all good no injuries went into the fight feeling amazing had a great camp and an easy weight cut no excuses the better man won on the night,” Pimblett said.

“Justin Gaethje, congratulations, brother, it was an honour to share the cage with such a legend,” he added.

The fight itself was a gruelling contest that saw Gaethje impose his trademark pressure and durability over the course of the bout.

Following the match, Pimblett was taken to the hospital for precautionary checks, a standard protocol after high-impact UFC fights, before later confirming he had avoided serious injury.

Despite the defeat and the physical toll of the fight, Pimblett made it clear that his long-term ambitions remain firmly intact.

“Go get that undisputed title ur career deserves it, hopefully we can run it back for the undisputed because I still know it’s in my destiny to win that gold!” he continued.

“UFC, thank you for the opportunity. You all know I’ll be back for that belt in the near future. Hope everyone enjoyed my fight just as much as I did, want to thank everyone that came to support and everyone watching at home,” Pimblett concluded.

While the loss stalled his momentum, Pimblett’s response resonated with fans and fighters alike. His respect toward Gaethje and refusal to deflect blame reinforced the belief that this setback will not define his career, but instead shape the next chapter.
