West Ham United star Declan Rice is among those who were impressed by Aston Villa central defender Tyrone Mings’s performance against Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday evening, as shown below in his Instagram message.

Mings was solid at the back, as Villa got the better of Leeds 1-0 away from home in the Premier League.

After the match, the 27-year-old centre-back took to Instagram to revel in the win for the Villans.

West Ham ace Rice, who can operate as a midfielder or as a defender, has responded to his England international teammate’s Instagram post, as have a few others, as shown below.

Mings is one of the best players at Villa and is one of the better centre-backs in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old has been playing well for the Villans this season, and his performance against Leeds was laudable indeed.

According to WhoScored, Mings took two shots which were not on target, had a pass accuracy of 50%, won five headers, took 37 touches, and made one tackle and nine clearances.

Even Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa was impressed by the display produced by the former Bournemouth star.
