Many of West Ham United’s key players are currently out injured.
David Moyes
Hammers boss David Moyes addressed the media during his pre-match press conference, ahead of his side’s clash with Arsenal tomorrow night, and provided an injury update on five West Ham players who are currently doubtful for the game against the Gunners, as quoted by the club’s official website.
West Ham are currently deeply entrenched in a relegation battle, after their paltry return of just 13 points from the 16 Premier League games they have played thus far, although the fact that they have been without some of their most important players must be taken into account.
The east London outfit welcome fifth placed Arsenal to the London Stadium tomorrow, and there is a genuine feeling of optimism emanating from the Hammers fanbase for the first time in a very long time.

Moyes spoke to reporters today, and provided an injury update ahead of his side’s clash with the Gunners, as quoted by WHUFC.com:

“Cheik has returned to training a little bit so we’re hoping to get him back quite quickly. Chicha and Andy were back on the bench, but Collins is not ready. We’re pretty much as we were, aside from Edi Fernandes hurting his ankle in training.”
One thing is for sure though, whichever team Moyes puts out against Arsenal tomorrow will have to match the high tempo they showed against the reigning Premier League champions on Saturday, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Arsene Wenger’s men.
