David Haye has issued a stark warning ahead of Jake Paul’s bout with Anthony Joshua.
Jake Paul was originally set to fight Gervonta Davis on November 14, but the exhibition match was scrapped after the WBA lightweight champion became involved in a legal dispute with an ex-girlfriend. In a surprising twist, Paul is now set to face Anthony Joshua in Miami on December 19.
Joshua, a former two-time heavyweight champion, has built his reputation by stopping top-level fighters including Francis Ngannou and Wladimir Klitschko. He’s widely recognised as one of the most dangerous punchers of his time.
David Haye predicts Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua
David Haye has expressed serious concerns about Jake Paul’s chances against Anthony Joshua. The former cruiserweight and heavyweight world champion believes the bout shouldn’t even be allowed to take place.

If it does go ahead, Haye worries about the potential consequences when Joshua knocks out Paul next month.
“He’s a real clean athlete who is going to inflict some horrendous damage to Jake Paul,” the retired British boxing legend said about Joshua on Sky Sports.
Jake Paul backs himself to beat Anthony Joshua
Jake Paul has built a 12-1 record by beating fighters past their prime, undersized, or new to the sport. Now he’s set to take on Anthony Joshua, a massive step up in competition for the 28-year-old.
Despite the obvious jump in class, Paul had already predicted he’d knock out Joshua long before the fight was even scheduled. Speaking on his now-defunct podcast months ago, he didn’t hold back.
“I know my boundaries,” Paul said. “I want to fight Anthony Joshua because I know I will f—— beat Anthony Joshua’s a–. He doesn’t have a chin, and he’s got no skill, and he’s stiff.”
He even added a personal touch: “I love you, Anthony. We’re friends, but I want to fight you.”
