Anthony Joshua just inked one of the most lucrative contracts of his career. However, all he wants now is a $7 favour from Netflix.
The former two-time unified heavyweight champion was originally set for a low-key December return, which would have netted him around $1 million.
Instead, he has found himself lined up to face Jake Paul in a bout that is reportedly worth £50 million ($65 million) to him.
Joshua has already made hundreds of millions during his storied career, including several massive paydays in Saudi Arabia. But this unexpected Christmas opportunity stands out, not just because of the size of the pay cheque.
Anthony Joshua asks Netflix for a favour after signing deal to face Jake Paul

Joshua is set to earn tens of millions from his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, adding to an estimated net worth of around $152 million.
Yet he has still made a cheeky request to Netflix ahead of the bout. The streaming service will broadcast the fight, but the Briton says he may not even be able to watch it from home.
Joshua has been fighting under the DAZN banner for years, and it is clear he might not even have a Netflix account. In an Instagram story, he joked: “Can I get a company username and password please?”
The cost of a standard subscription in his native UK is just $7, and the premium tier goes for $25 – prices that would make no difference to his wealth. But hours after agreeing to fight on the service, Joshua playfully asked if there was any chance of getting an account set up for him.
DAZN were reportedly paid well over their investment in Joshua’s deal so far for him to be allowed to fight elsewhere.
Katie Taylor’s two Netflix encounters with Amanda Serrano over the past year involved similar, though much smaller, deals.
