Jack Hendry has not been in good form for Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic so far this season.

Hendry’s performances so far this season have not been great, and the 23-year-old defender has made some costly mistakes.
The defender has been criticised this season by fans of Celtic and Scotland, as reported by HITC Sport here, here and here.
Former Celtic midfielder and manager Hay has suggested that the 23-year-old should not be blamed entirely for Brendan Rodgers’s side’s problems at the back.
Hay has also suggested what the Scotland international defender – who joined Celtic from Dundee in January 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £1.2 million – can do to improve his game.
Hay wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times: “I thought Mikael Lustig and Jack Hendry could both have done better in that respect, although I would have to say that I think Hendry has become the targetman for carrying all of Celtic’s defensive ills this season.
“And I think that is a bit unfair. He needs to simplify his game. He needs to not take so many touches and just do the basics just now.”

Youssouf Mulumbu embarrassed
Meanwhile, Celtic midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has admitted to The Scottish Sun that he is embarrassed that he has yet to win a competitive game with the Hoops in which he has played.
The 31-year-old DR Congo international midfielder joined the Hoops in the summer transfer window on a free.
Mulumbu told The Scottish Sun: “I’m trying to get my fitness back to help the lads and be ready when the gaffer needs me.
“But I’ve been frustrated because I haven’t won yet with Celtic. It’s a bit embarrassing.”
