The Celtic defender is ruled out of upcoming Scotland games with an ankle problem.

It’s been a very poor start to the season for Celtic defender Jack Hendry.
Not only has the former Dundee ace struggled for Celtic in various domestic and European outings this season, but now he’s injured and will not represent his country this month.
The 23-year-old has had to withdraw from Scotland’s squad for the friendly with Belgium on September 7, along with the Nations League opener with Albania three days later.
Hendry, who costs the Hoops around £1.2 million in January [Sky Sports], is sidelined with an ankle injury.
And it appears as if some Scotland fans are quite happy to hear that he’s missing, considering his form.
Here’s how they reacted:
It’s worth remembering that Hendry is only 23 years of age and time is certainly on his side, but this is definitely where mental strength is needed.
Hendry will obviously know that he hasn’t been ripping it up this season, and if he has social media then he probably knows that his form hasn’t gone unnoticed.
But every young player needs stoicism, the capacity to roll with the punches instead of being knocked out by them and hopefully for Celtic’s sake he can recover his fitness and form this season.
