Arne Slot has made quite the start at Liverpool.
When Jurgen Klopp departed Liverpool, many feared that the team would struggle without their legendary manager and that the next man in would need a lot of time to get going.
But Liverpool have won their opening three matches, scoring seven goals and they are yet to concede despite ending the previous campaign pretty poorly.
Liverpool’s win at Manchester United on Sunday at Old Trafford was the standout and it has got fans pretty excited as to what their team can achieve.
The summer transfer window didn’t go like those in the Anfield boardroom wanted, even though they secured a bargain deal for Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
Martin Zubimendi rejected a move to Liverpool and a lot of talk was on who would play the number six role for the team.
Slot has decided to play Ryan Gravenberch in that role and he has made quite the start to the new Premier League season.
Darren Bent admitted that, during the early stages, Slot has transformed the Ajax academy product and he didn’t realise he was this good, as he told talkSPORT (02/09/24 at 4:30 pm).
Gravenberch’s performances have been a surprise, but a pleasant surprise and he is getting his due praise for his early start.
Ryan Gravenberch’s performances
“Arne Slot, one thing he has done, that Gravenberch, he (looks great), honestly,” said Bent. “I didn’t know he was that good.”

Liverpool’s midfield
Three games in and you already know Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai are his three main men in midfield.
Harvey Elliott, just like last season, is unlucky not to earn more minutes, whilst Wataru Endo’s days at the club could already be numbered, even though he hasn’t done much wrong.

Even the new boy Chiesa can play in midfield and you also have Curtis Jones desperate to impress under his new manager.
Either way, it’s showing the depth Liverpool have and, after the international break, they will start to feel the heat because the games, including in the Champions League, will start to ramp up.
