Danny Murphy has claimed that West Ham United and Everton transfer target Armando Broja is a ‘proper centre-forward’, as he told talkSPORT.
The Chelsea striker, who was on-loan at Southampton last season, is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs.
It is said that West Ham are keen to add the 20-year-old to their books and they have been the source of six meetings with Chelsea’s new owner, Todd Boehly.

But they aren’t the only ones because Everton are also sniffing about after selling star man Richarlison for £60 million, so bringing in a younger player for less than half the price would be a good piece of business from the club.
Either way, former Liverpool midfielder Murphy claimed that he would be ‘amazed’ if the sought-after forward isn’t at another club next season.
“I really like him,” said Murphy. “Very direct. Good feet for a young man. He looks like a proper centre-forward. He puts himself about and his link-up is decent.
“I would be amazed if he’s not somewhere else. I think he could possibly be a starter in the future for Chelsea. But if they want to win the Premier League, then they need to go big. Lewandowski big.”

BROJA IS WHAT CHELSEA ARE LOOKING FOR
After loaning Romelu Lukaku back to Inter Milan following his disastrous return to Stamford Bridge, those at Chelsea are in need of another centre-forard.
Raheem Sterling has been added to their books following his transfer from Manchester City, but an out-and-out number nine is needed.
This is where Chelsea should provide Broja with a chance to shine, but just like Tammy Abraham, they will probably sell him off, then realise a few years later they made a mistake.
Whether Chelsea use the Slough-born star or not, one thing is for sure, he needs to be playing 30+ Premier League games again next season.
He managed six goals in total from his first full season in England’s top-flight and there’s no reason why he can’t hit double figures next term.
