The Liverpool striker has been linked with moves to West Ham United, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion in January.

Reds ace Danny Ings spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and delivered a blow to the Hammers, Magpies and Baggies, suggesting that he is determined to prove himself at Anfield.

Newcastle, West Brom and West Ham are all interested in signing the 25-year-old striker in January, according to the Guardian, but his latest comments might just rule out their chances of obtaining his signature next month.

Ings, though, appeared to pour cold water on rumours linking him with the exit door at Liverpool, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, highlighting his desire to earn more game-time under Jürgen Klopp this season:

“It’s one of those games [against Everton] that was there for the taking. Going onto the pitch, I thought all I needed was one chance to score against them again. It didn’t happen but it was good to be out there in front of the Kop and everybody. It was a huge moment for me after everything I’ve been through here. Hopefully I can build on that now and get more minutes.”

With the likes of Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho currently setting the Premier League alight, however, it is tough to envisage a scenario where the former Burnley man could force his way back into Klopp’s plans.

He still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal with the Reds, however, so maybe a loan move away from Merseyside next month would be the ideal solution for all parties involved.
