Dana White is anticipating massive numbers for UFC Freedom 250 this weekend.
Even before the UFC Freedom 250 card was made official by Donald Trump, it was already being talked up as possibly the biggest event in combat sports history.
But there are some concerns about the weather. Forecasts are calling for a 65% chance of rain, with thunder and lightning also possible. That could cause problems for an outdoor show, and White has acknowledged that’s something to keep an eye on.
Still, he’s staying positive. And now, just a few days out from fight night, Dana White is making a bold prediction.

Dana White still expects UFC Freedom 250 to break records despite weather concerns
The YouTube Channel took his words further, stating: “I say we do more than three million pay-per-view buys.”
The all-time record for pay-per-view sales stands at 4.3 million units which was set by Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor back in 2017 when they clashed inside the squared circle.
If Dana White’s prediction comes true this weekend at UFC Freedom 250, it would certainly put a lot of pressure on future cards to try and live up to what this one has already been billed as months before it even takes place.

The card features two title fights, with Ilia Topuria headlining in a unification bout against Justin Gaethje, who’s chasing a third interim belt. In the co-main event, Alex Pereira faces Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title.
But putting together the card wasn’t the main challenge—pulling off an event on the South Lawn took far more effort behind the scenes.
The UFC is reportedly covering significant costs to restore the lawn post-event, as they had to build a structure to support the Octagon.
They also imported a massive rig called ‘The Claw’ from Belgium. It’s designed to hold up lighting without appearing in any camera angles for viewers at home.
After ‘The Claw’ was set up on site, President Trump even suggested he might leave it there beyond just this weekend’s event.
White told TNT Sports: “I said the Sphere should have won every award there is in production, it did not, which doesn’t surprise me – it’s very political. If we don’t win every production award for the White House event, they should just stop doing production awards because you’re full of s—.”
UFC 306 at The Sphere did pick up two Emmys and remains the only sporting event ever held at that venue.
