Fans will be able to get hold of a ‘Freedom 250’ coin, created especially for the event, on June 14.
With the full broadcast team now announced for the UFC White House card, we’re just days away from what promises to be a historic night.
Bryce Mitchell is among those who have voiced concerns, arguing that organising sporting events shouldn’t fall under government responsibilities.
Alongside debates about whether Freedom 250 should even be held at the White House, some critics are also taking issue with the memorabilia that’s been released around it.
UFC and The Trump Organisation collaborate on a set of commemorative coins for ‘Freedom 250’

Even with a lawsuit hanging over the UFC White House card, it’s still shaping up to be a landmark event if it goes ahead as planned. To mark the occasion, the UFC and The Trump Organisation have joined forces to release a set of commemorative coins, though they come with a hefty price tag.
Buyers can choose from four different coins, two silver and two gold. Each coin features ‘250’ on one side and an image of Donald Trump on the other, who is reportedly behind their design.
The price range is significant, starting at $249.99 and going all the way up to $11,999.99 for the ‘1 OZ PF70 Trump Coins X UFC Gold Medallion.’ This isn’t The Trump Organisation’s first venture into collectable coins, either. It’s currently run by his sons, Donald Jr. and Eric.
The official site promotes the release as follows: “Celebrate the road to America’s 250th with an exclusive Trump Coins x UFC Freedom 250 collaboration. This limited collection brings together patriotism, combat sports history, and premium collectable craftsmanship in one landmark release.”
Trump is certainly no stranger to releasing merchandise under his name. He has put out everything from shoes and watches to even mobile phones over the years. The coins are set to be available for purchase starting June 9th, with a waitlist already open for those interested in signing up early.
