Crystal Palace supporters are reacting on Twitter to reports that goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey is ‘poised to sign’ a new deal at Selhurst Park
The claim – which first appeared in the Daily Mirror (April 23rd, page 49) – follows an impressive turnaround for Hennessey, who looked at one stage as though he would be leaving Palace at the end of his contract this summer, having lost his place to veteran rival Julian Speroni.
But an extended stay could now be in the offing, despite the planned arrival of long-term target Vicente Guaita.

And after four years at Palace, Eagles fans are well-qualified to comment on the Welshman’s ability – although they appear to be split down the middle.
