According to the Sun, Hodgson is keen to reunite with Baggies defender Craig Dawson and striker Jay Rodriguez – the latter of whom he gave his only England cap.
However, the report adds the West Brom pair will set the Eagles back £30 million, even if Albion are relegated this season, as expected.
Discussing the rumour on Twitter, it would appear that signing only one of those players would be an issue for Crystal Palace supporters, who have not forgotten what Dawson did to their goalkeeper Julian Speroni when the two teams met in 2014.
