Kieran Tierney has made a huge impression at Celtic since breaking into the Glasgow side’s first-team.

Gamboa only joined Celtic last summer from West Bromwich Albion, but he has already been impressed by the young full-back.

“I think we are quite similar in that we both like to get forward but he is also very strong defensively.

“I admire him a lot because he is a young player who works very hard. He is very dedicated, very committed and I think that Celtic are lucky to have him because he is such a great player. It is hard to believe that he is still young and he will get better and better.

Tierney is still only 19-years-old, but he appears to be an established member of Celtic’s first-team now.

The youngster first broke in the Bhoys’ squad when Ronny Deila was in charge, and he has quickly grown in importance.

Tierney has coped with every challenge that has been thrown at him so far during his burgeoning career, and his form has not gone unnoticed.

The Celtic starlet is already attracting the attentions of a number of Premier League sides, with Rodgers’ men set to face a fight to keep hold of him in the summer.
