Tottenham Hotspur go into their game against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day with momentum firmly on their side.

Antonio Conte has sparked a huge improvement in Tottenham’s play since taking charge, with his side still unbeaten in domestic competition since his arrival.

All of a sudden, competition for places is looking fierce all over the pitch.

And in this piece we take a look at who Conte may call upon against Palace tomorrow.

Defence

Antonio Conte has shown his hand here and very rarely seems to deviate from his first choice back-three.

Expect Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies to start in the heart of Tottenham’s defence, with Hugo Lloris to take his place beside them.

Sergio Reguilon should come back in a left-back with Ryan Sessegnon out, while Emerson Royal looks the most likely starter on the right.

Midfield

This is where things really start to get interesting for Tottenham, as Conte’s options are now looking plentiful.

Pierre Emile Hojbjerg is back to full fitness again, as is Oliver Skipp – but Dele Alli and Harry Winks both stood out against Liverpool.

It leaves Conte with a real dilemma over who to pick in midfield.

We think Winks might well be given the nod here, with Hojbjerg starting alongside him, as Spurs will want to play three attackers against Palace.

That means 25-year-old Alli will miss out, but he could feature from the bench.

Attack

Again, the forward places are now becoming highly competitive at Tottenham.

Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane are practically assured of their starting spots, but Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura both have viable claims to the place in the right of the front three.

£23 million man, Lucas, may just have the stronger claim to keep it for now, but Bergwijn’s performance against West Ham should earn him some game time off the bench tomorrow.
