Wolves ace Conor Coady spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s stalemate with Sunderland on Saturday, and opened up on what Nuno Espirito Santo told the players in the dressing room after the match at Molineux, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Black Country outfit have been superb on the whole this season, and currently sit comfortably at the top of the Championship table, five points ahead of second placed Cardiff City, although they have played a game more than Neil Warnock’s men.

Saturday’s draw with the Black Cats came as a real shock for pundits and fans alike, and how the Wolves players bounce back will arguably be the first real challenge they have faced all season long.

Coady, 24, spoke to reporters after the 0-0 draw with Chris Coleman’s side, and opened up on the message given to the players by Nuno in the dressing room following the match, as quoted by Wolves.co.uk:

“The manager said after the game that we had a couple of chances where we could have killed the game off early, but listen, teams are going to come and play like that against us and it’s up to us to get better at doing that (breaking them down).”

Next up for the Portuguese’s side is a trip to Yorkshire to take on Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night, and nothing less than a win will do, if they are to keep the chasing pack at bay.
