Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly does not want to sell Christian Pulisic in the January transfer window amid reported interest from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United, according to journalist Dean Jones in GiveMeSport.

Jones has said that Chelsea co-owner Boehly would love to keep USA international attacking player Pulisic at the club and would love to see his compatriot become a success at Stamford Bridge.

However, things may not pan out that way, according to the journalist.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are interested in signing Pulisic from Chelsea in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.

The report published on November 27 claimed that Liverpool could make a bid for 24-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and was described as a “really skilled” footballer by Reds boss Klopp.

Todd Boehly stance on Arsenal and Newcastle target Christian Pulisic

Jones said: “I don’t think Todd Boehly particularly wants to lose Pulisic, especially on the back of what he’s done at the World Cup.

“I think he would actually love him to stay at Chelsea if they can make it work. I still think there’s a couple of obstacles in that one.”

Could a transfer happen?

In our opinion, Arsenal or Newcastle United could be able to sign Christian Pulisic from Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Boehly may not want to see his American compatriot leave, but if Pulisic does not feel that he is going anywhere under Chelsea manager Graham Potter and wants to leave, then it is unlikely that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will keep him against his will.

Arsenal and Newcastle are big clubs who could play in the UEFA Champions League next season, and a move to the Emirates Stadium or St. James’ Park could appeal to Pulisic.
