Norwich City could let reported Wolverhampton Wanderers and Aston Villa target Max Aarons leave on loan, according to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 68, August 9, 2020).

Promising player

The Canaries have been relegated to the Championship, and there is no surprise to see Wolves and Villa linked with Aarons.

The 20-year-old right-back did well for Norwich this past season, and showed that he is capable of holding his own in the Premier League.

According to WhoScored, the England Under-21 international right-back made 36 appearances in the league for the Canaries in 2019-20, providing one assist in the process.

In demand

According to The Mirror (print edition, page 67, July 19, 2020), Wolves are interested in signing Aarons in the summer transfer window, with the report adding that Norwich value the youngster at £20 million (click here to read more).

The Telegraph reported earlier this month of interest from Villa in the young right-back (click here to read more).

The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 68, August 9, 2020) has reported of interest from Villa and Bayern Munich in Aarons, and has stated that the Canaries could allow him to leave on loan this summer.

Leaving Norwich City

Aarons is too good for the Championship, and dropping back to the second tier of English football would not be helpful in the development of the youngster.
