Liverpool are the only club in the Premier League’s ‘Big Six’ yet to complete any transfer business this summer.

It has been a quiet start to Arne Slot’s tenure as Liverpool manager with the club biding their time when it comes to supplying him with new signings.

The Reds have flown to the United States to begin their pre-season tour, but fans will hope to see a few new faces join the squad in America.

While Slot has not had the chance to celebrate any new signings as Liverpool manager, he has been boosted by Virgil van Dijk’s decision to stay with the club.

HITC revealed on Tuesday that Van Dijk has informed Liverpool that he wants to sign a new contract at the club.

But while Van Dijk’s future at the club is secure, reports suggest one Liverpool midfielder could be headed for the exit.

Club president jets over for Ryan Gravenberch deal

Liverpool had a changing of the guard in midfield last summer with Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch all joining the Reds.

For the most part, it was a successful move by the club with Jurgen Klopp once again leading a title charge and securing Champions League qualification.

But one signing that didn’t work out so well was Gravenberch – he failed to nail down a regular starting spot and played just 1,121 minutes in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old was hugely outshone by Liverpool’s other midfield signings and an exit is now on the cards.

According to Turkish outlet Yenisafak, Galatasaray are accelerating their transfer business and have set their sights on Gravenberch.

The report claims club president Dursun Ozbek and transfer manager Cenk Ergun have both flown to England to finalise a deal.

It adds that Gravenberch is valued at £30million (35million Euros) with his contract at Anfield set to expire in 2028.

Gravenberch would be the first sale of the summer for the Reds and his fee would also add to the budget available to Slot and sporting director Richard Hughes.
