Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur and David Moyes’s West Ham United could now reportedly miss out on the chance to sign Conor Gallagher from Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
According to a report in 90min today, Chelsea do not plan to sell Conor Gallagher this week, amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino is “very happy with Gallagher’s progress” and sees the midfielder as an important player in his squad.
The report has claimed that Chelsea plan to open talks with the midfielder and his representatives “about a new contract once the transfer window has closed”.
Bayern Munich are interested in Gallagher, according to 90min.
Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is now in charge of the Bundesliga champions.
Tuchel described Gallagher as “extraordinary and outstanding” on the club’s official website in April 2022 while he was on loan at Crystal Palace.

With Gallagher keen on staying at Chelsea and the Blues themselves ready to hand him a new contract, it seems that Tottenham and West Ham will now have to move on.
Gallagher has made 102 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The 23-year-old has scored 13 goals and given six assists in the process.
