Torino will wait until after the January transfer window before deciding on the long-term future of reported West Ham United target Gleison Bremer, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A side remain hopeful that Bremer will agree to a new contract, with his current deal ending in 2023. But the Brazilian has so far resisted Il Toro’s advances to agree terms.
Bremer earns just €500k-a-year (£8k-a/w) on his existing deal and would be due a sizable pay rise with an extension. AC Milan are also giving serious thought to a possible move.

Milan want to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s defence in January after Simon Kjaer sustained a season-ending knee injury. The Rossoneri admire Bremer as the 24-year-old is still young, but has experience of Serie A. His technical and physical traits also match Pioli’s criteria.
But Torino, while open to a transfer if they get a €25m (£21m) offer, want to keep him past January. Il Toro will then consider Bremer going next summer if he will not sign a new deal.
Torino deals West Ham transfer blow as Moyes eyes Bremer move
Torino’s intention to overlook mid-season transfer interest in Bremer will also deal a blow to West Ham’s January plans.
Reports by Calciomercato.it had cited the Brazilian as a centre-half option for David Moyes following Angelo Ogbonna’s season-ending knee injury. Kurt Zouma also now faces three-months on the sidelines, per The Times, following his hamstring injury against Chelsea.

Zouma and Ogbonna’s injuries have depleted Moyes’ centre-half options to Craig Dawson and Issa Diop. If no new faces join, he may have to rely on Aaron Cresswell or Declan Rice.
But Calciomercato.it add Torino star Bremer is not the only defender on West Ham’s radar for a January transfer. The Irons also like Fiorentina’s €15m (£13m) man Nikola Milenkovic.
