AC Milan are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling ahead of the imminent club takeover from Investcorp, with Arsenal also interested in the England international.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian giants are set for a massive summer of spending with their new Bahrain owners, with Milan tempted to make moves for the likes of Sterling, as well as Real Madrid duo Isco and Marco Asensio.

As reported by the Daily Star, City are open to selling Sterling this summer, with the winger having an £80m price tag as the Manchester giants prepare to welcome Erling Haaland, who is close to signing for the Premier League club.

The Daily Star have also previously reported that Arsenal are interested in Sterling, with the attacker having a good relationship with Mikel Arteta during the pair’s time together at City.

And now, Milan are interested in Sterling, who could be the Rossoneri’s new poster boy in this exciting era for the Italian giants, with the club potentially heading into the summer as Serie A champions for the first time in over a decade.

For Arsenal, though, Milan’s new interest in Sterling poses a massive problem for the Gunners, with Arteta no doubt a fan of the City star and open to bringing the England international to north London this summer.

Sterling’s career appears to be entering a crossroads, with City likely to offload the forward with Haaland set to join Pep Guardiola’s side, and Milan could be an appealing prospect despite Arsenal’s interest.

Indeed, Sterling is a proven Premier League attacker with a strong goalscoring and assisting record, yet with Milan open to spending big on the 26-year-old, Italy could be an incredibly appealing move for the City star.
