Manchester City attacking midfielder Jack Grealish has praised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli on Instagram for his performance against Liverpool at the weekend.

Alli played for Tottenham in the 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

The England international midfielder made his first Premier League start under head coach Antonio Conte.

And his performance impressed City star Grealish.

Impressive

Alli did really well against Liverpool and impressed many, including former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp.

The 25-year-old made some wonderful runs, linked up well with fellow attacking players, and went close to scoring.

Alli took one shot, played one key pass, attempted four dribbles, and made four clearances.

Yes, it was just one game, but it was against Liverpool.

That same Liverpool who could win the Premier League title this season.

And the Champions League.

So, in our opinion, Tottenham fans should be excited about Alli.

Maybe, just maybe, the former MK Dons star will get back to his best.

Perhaps Conte is the manager who will get Alli back to his best.

We shall wait and see.
