Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Joao Palhinha from Fulham.
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri on Twitter, Liverpool are the club who are most keen on signing Joao Palhinha from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
The reporter has suggested that Liverpool could make a bid for the Portugal international defensive midfielder in the coming days.
Tavolieri has claimed that Fulham are looking for €60 million (£52 million) in transfer fees for the Portugal international, who is “aggressive” according to former Manchester United winger Nani in Antena1 in November 2020.
West Ham United have also been linked with Palhinha, while Tottenham Hotspur are claimed to be interested in the 28-year-old as well.
The midfielder made 35 appearances in the Premier League for Fulham last season.
Palhinha scored three goals in those games.
Potential Joao Palhinha blow for Liverpool
There is now a major issue regarding Liverpool potentially signing Joao Palhinha from Fulham in the summer transfer window.
We do not think that Liverpool would have any problem paying the £52 million transfer fee that Fulham want for Palhinha.
And the player himself could be keen on a move to Liverpool.

After all, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs in the world and regularly challenge for the Premier League title.
Under manager Jurgen Klopp, the Merseyside club have won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, the FA Cup and the EFL Cup in recent years.
However, Palhinha is facing a spell on the sidelines due to the injury he suffered while playing for Fulham this past weekend.
The 28-year-old was in action for Fulham in their opening Summer Series match against Brentford on Sunday.
The Cottagers won the match against their London rivals 3-2.
Palhinha suffered an injury just before half time and left the pitch visibly hurt.
Fulham manager Marco Silva has said that the injury “doesn’t look good” and is “serious”.
Palhinha seems to have dislocated his shoulder, but we will know more after he undergoes a scan.
