Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is seemingly not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s long-term plans for the club, and the winger looks set to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, negotiations are progressing with Italian giants Lazio which would see Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi reunite with Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian manager, who gave Hudson-Odoi plenty of game time back in 2018-2019, is said to be keen on working with the 22-year-old as soon as possible.
The winger, who was linked with Bayern Munich back in 2020 according to ESPN before signing a new and improved contract, looks set to end his stay in West London following a disappointing loan spell in Germany at Bayer Leverkusen.
The Englishman has been limited to substitute appearances in recent seasons and has struggled to make the impact that his new contract, which is reported to be £180,000 a week according to GOAL, warranted.
Callum Hudson-Odoi ready to leave Chelsea
After a promising spell under Maurizio Sarri and indeed Frank Lampard at Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi was the subject of bids from German giants Bayern Munich.

The German champions offered a loan plus an option to buy for £70 million which was swiftly rejected by the Blues, according to the same report from ESPN in 2020.
According to the report from Italy, Lazio are ready to offer a loan deal with an obligation to buy for £11 million next summer.
Despite Marco Silva’s Fulham reportedly being interested in the winger, according to the Evening Standard, Hudson-Odoi’s reported preference according to the Italian newspaper would be to move to the Eternal City and sign for Sarri’s Lazio.
A fresh start may well be required for Hudson-Odoi with Pochettino not seeing him as a valuable member of the squad so him moving on would be best for all parties.
The 22-year-old is still early in his career and has plenty of time to show the skills and talent that led Bayern to offer £70 million for his services.
