As the confirmed lineup for both Chelsea and Man City (both via Twitter) has finally emerged, the world awaits to see whether Graham Potter or Pep Guardiola will come out on top at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea starting lineup: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Koulibaly, T. Silva, Cucurella, Zakaria, Kovacic, Pulisic, Ziyech, Sterling, Havertz.

Chelsea substitutes: Bettinelli, Chukwuemeka, Hall, Hutchinson, Chalobah, Jorginho, Mount, Gallagher, Aubameyang.

Man City starting lineup: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Ake, Cancelo, Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Silva, Haaland, Foden.

Man City substitutes: Ortega, Lewis, Akanji, Laporte, Gomez, Phillips, Mahrez, Grealish, Alvarez.

Graham Potter has chosen to utilise a 4-3-3 setup in his confirmed Chelsea lineup.

Kepa Arrizabalga, who has become a firm favourite under Potter keeps his place in between the sticks.

An unchanged back 4 starts for Chelsea, which includes the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Kalidou Kouliabaly, Thiago Silva and Marc Cucurella.

In midfield, Graham Potter has made 2 notable changes from his side’s 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest, with Jorginho and Mason Mount being omitted in place of Mateo Kovacic.

However, an additional attacker comes in, with Hakim Ziyech added to a front 4 that includes Christian Pulisic, Raheem Sterling and Kai Havertz.

In total, the Blues have made 3 changes.

Pep Guardiola has gone with a 4-2-3-1 setup in his confirmed Man City lineup.

As per standard procedure, Ederson is the man in between the sticks.

In defence, Man City have made 2 changes, with Rico Lewis and Manuel Akanji being taken out for Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo.

The midfield trio also sees one omission, with Bernardo Silva being replaced by Ilkay Gundogan.

However, Bernardo Silva replaces Riyad Mahrez at right-wing.

Pep Guardiola has also re-introduced Phil Foden into the fold in place of Jack Grealish in the front 3, as Erling Haaland, who looks on course to beat Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s goal record in a single Premier League season keeps his place in the lineup.

In total, City have made 4 changes.

All in, the confirmed lineup for both Chelsea and Man City is a teaser of a cracker of a contest that is set to be on fold at Stamford Bridge.
