Sky Sports pundit praises Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.

Ahead of England’s World Cup Qualifier games, Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has said that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been explosive.
Kane, who won the Premier League Golden Boot last season, has been in top form in 2017/18 as well, scoring six goals in the Premier League so far.
The 24-year-old has scored 13 goals in all competitions in the month of September, and has taken his game to a whole new level.

Nicholas has predicted that Kane will score the first goal for England against Slovenia. He said that it won’t be a sparkling performance from England, but with Kane in the side, they should be able to break down Slovenia.
Gareth Southgate, the England manager, has named Kane as the captain for the England side against Slovenia. He has yet to decide who’ll be England’s permanent captain following Wayne Rooney’s retirement from international football.

However, Nicholas has said that he doesn’t see the benefits of adding the extra burden of captaincy. He added that people may react differently if England don’t get a result.
“Quite rightly everybody is talking about Harry Kane – he’s been explosive – but I just don’t see the benefits of adding the additional burden of captaincy. If England don’t get a result then suddenly people are looking at him in a different light,” said Nicholas to Sky Sports.
“It won’t be a sparkling performance and I can see it taking some time to really wrap it up, but with Kane in the team they should be able to break down Slovenia.”
