Charles Oliveira believes he has identified the key factor that will make him the next BMF champion.
After kicking off the year with two consecutive UFC numbered events, fans will not have to wait much longer for another big night. The third pay-per-view under the new Paramount deal is set for March 7 in Las Vegas.
With three UFC Fight Nights scheduled in February, UFC 326 will be held at T-Mobile Arena and features a rematch between Oliveira and Max Holloway.
‘Do Bronx’ is hoping to take away the symbolic BMF title from Holloway, who first claimed it against Justin Gaethje in 2024 and then defended it against Dustin Poirier last July.
Oliveira lost to ‘Blessed’ over a decade ago and says he is ready to settle things.
Charles Oliveira backs ‘hunter’ mentality to help him beat Max Holloway at UFC 326

Their first encounter ended just 99 seconds in when a rare oesophagus injury forced Oliveira out of the main event in Saskatoon.
Since then, Oliveira has carved out an impressive career and now aims to settle the score from that early setback.
Speaking to CasinoBeats, he explained why he believes things will go his way this time around.
“I think, in reality, we’re two big names, me and Max. We’re both fighters who bring it and truly deliver a fight.
“But I’m a hunter. I look for the fight both on the feet and on the ground, and I think that’s the difference.
“It’s about who wants it more, who’s hungrier. It doesn’t matter if the fight stays standing, I’m ready. If it goes to the ground, I’m ready. Whatever happens, I’m ready.
“That’s the difference. I’m an MMA fighter,” Oliveira concluded.
UFC 325 winner is eyeing up the Max Holloway vs Charles Oliveira winner
Whoever comes out of the March card holding the BMF belt might not have to wait long to find out who’s next in line.
After Benoit Saint-Denis stopped Dan Hooker at UFC 325, the rising French contender made it clear he plans to call out the BMF titleholder later this year.
“I’m fully focused on anyone inside the top five but the undisputed belt and the BMF belt are my first interests,” Saint-Denis said after his fight.
“My first point of interest is to fight the winner of Charles and Holloway or the winner of Justin (Gaethje) vs Ilia (Topuria).”
If Oliveira takes that symbolic title from Holloway in their rematch, a first-time clash with ‘God of War’ could mark another chapter in his pursuit of a second lightweight reign.
